The Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer’s Disease Research Program has been awarded to the University of Florida

The Florida Department of Health has awarded an Ed and Ethel Moore Alzheimer’s Disease Research Program Consortium grant to the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology. This grant if for the project Consortium Study of Neuroimaging Impact of Behavioral Interventions in Mild Cognitive Impairment, led by Glenn E. Smith, PhD. Together with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, we will compare different behavioral interventions for Mild Cognitive Impairment in terms of their impact on quality of life, function, self-efficacy and in vivo neuroimaging measures of plasticity during the pre- and post-intervention periods. We are excited to start this new project and are looking forward to these new collaborations!
